Sound, lighting and new connections in Barcelona: ISE 2027 ISE 2027 takes place from 2 to 5 February 2027 at Fira de Barcelona Gran Via in Barcelona, Spain, under the theme ‘When Worlds Unite’. This major AV event brings together audio, lighting, staging and video equipment to compare and hear in person. It is particularly useful for venue technical teams, event agencies and rental companies. Responsible roles / intended readers: Agencies, rental businesses and venue technical or buying teams comparing audio, lighting, staging, video and AV systems Record / next task: Supplier/hall and demonstration/meeting itinerary, applicable admission and badge, travel and reservation conditions Basis of information: Directly read the October 1 registration announcement and current audio/lighting/staging, hours/location, registration prices, FAQ and terms, distinguishing exhibition access, content and the outdated deadline. Editorial review: 2026-11-05 Experience sound, lighting and staging in dedicated areas According to the official guide, audio is located in Halls 7 and 8.1, while lighting and staging are in Halls 6 and 8.1. ISE Sound Experience includes audio demo rooms, outdoor demonstrations and Listening Suites. Audio for an indoor presentation space and systems for outdoor performances have different requirements, so choosing demonstrations in advance will make comparisons clearer. Recheck detailed demonstration times and meeting availability before you leave. Visit both venues on 3–4 February On 3 and 4 February, an ISE badge also provides access to the Spark and EdTech Congress exhibition spaces at the separate Fira Montjuïc venue. This does not mean that every conference session is free. If you want to visit both venues, check exhibition access separately from paid session inclusions. A free shuttle connects Gran Via and Plaça Espanya and can also be used for a Montjuïc visit during this period. Opening hours differ by exhibition area General opening hours are 10:00–18:00 from 2 to 4 February and 10:00–16:00 on 5 February. All times are local to Barcelona. Halls 1, 2 and 3, the Hall 8.0 audio demo rooms and the Upper Walkway open earlier, at 09:00 each day. Not every booth opens at 09:00, so check the hall for your first meeting in advance. The final day also closes earlier, making an earlier time a better choice for a longer discussion. Admission prices and free ticket eligibility The Attendee Ticket includes exhibition admission on all four days. Up to 1 February 2027, it costs €250 before tax, or €275 including 10% VAT. During the event, it costs €272.73 before tax, or €300 including VAT. The Attendee Ticket is listed as free for AVIXA or CEDIA members and people with a valid invitation code. Visitors under 16 are not admitted. Those aged 16 to 18 must register, pay the fee and be accompanied by an adult. Bring photo identification, such as a passport or EU identity card, to the venue. Prepare your badge and visit The official FAQ advises visitors to print and bring the PDF badge included in the registration confirmation email. App badges are scheduled to become available from December, so do not assume that you can obtain this year’s badge in the app. The registration cancellation deadline still shows a date from 2025, so the refund deadline for the 2027 event cannot yet be confirmed.
