Choose circus and dance for a winter outing

The 6 November announcement schedules Ten Thousand Hours (25–29 November), Triptych (2–9 December) and Mad in Finland (12–20 December) at the Grand Chapiteau. Their dates differ, so start by choosing the production you want to see.

You can combine a market visit and a performance on the same day. Allow time for food and the journey to the tent around the performance, so everyone can enjoy the outing without rushing.

Free grounds and visiting hours

Grounds admission is free; the Grand Chapiteau, curling and the separate 31 December party are ticketed. Opening is at 14:00 on weekdays and 11:00 at weekends. Market closing times below are local to Munich (CET).

If you add a ticketed performance

Ten Thousand Hours combines acrobatics with live percussion and runs for 60 minutes without an interval. Listed starts are 19:30 on 25–28 November, an additional 16:30 performance on 28 November, and 18:00 on 29 November. For 25 November at 19:30, online standard tickets are €38, €48 or €58 by seat category, including tax and fees but excluding delivery. Recheck the final amount for other performances and seats. The programme also warns of fog effects and loud music.

Grand Chapiteau admission is for ages six and over; under-14s need a parent or guardian. Late admission is not guaranteed, so allow time to get from the market to the tent.

Prepare for booking and changes

Check ticketed events through official Tollwood channels, München Ticket or Eventim. Tickets bought from Tollwood are generally non-returnable, with exceptions for cancellation or rescheduling. For purchases from another seller, contact that seller.
