Coffee and snacks at Tokyo Midtown Hibiya
The UCC capsule-coffee pop-up at Tokyo Midtown Hibiya was announced for October 9–12. Visitors could draw one of 14 coffee-and-snack combinations from a large capsule machine and taste coffee brewed with DRIP POD YOUBI, with the experience designed to introduce new preferences within a familiar drink.
Imagine a coffee moment in five everyday spaces
The Tokyo display represented a dining area, bedroom, workspace, tatami room and living room. The roughly five-metre machine and these five spaces belonged to the Tokyo format. Check each location’s guidance separately rather than assuming every stop used the same scale of installation.
Different free-participation routes
Tokyo participation required following the official DRIP POD Instagram or X account. The October 10–11 events at Aeon Mall Atsuta, Dainichi and Hiroshima Gion used an on-site questionnaire for free participation. All of these dates have passed; consult a new UCC announcement for future locations and conditions.
Make discovering a new taste comfortable
Teams planning coffee tastings can test the complete sequence from capsule draw through brewing, handover and tasting. Make food and allergen information easy to find at collection, and separate waiting areas from places to enjoy the drink. Comfortable movement can support the pleasure of discovering a product.
