When to use it
Use when receiving QLab 5 material from a producer and before copying the delivery to main and backup Macs.
What to have ready
- Confirmed cue list and inventory of files and separate dependencies
- Received project folder and save/media-copy setting records
- Font and AudioUnit names, versions and replies about installation conditions
- Receiving Mac IDs, installation checker and actual-output test owner
List the workspace, media and separate dependencies under their cue IDs, with the agreed delivery version.
Have a technician compare files in the actual folder with cue references. Distinguish manually saved delivery files from recovery backups; record the receipt location and time.
For fonts and AudioUnits, record installation status, conditions for use on the receiving machine and reply deadlines separately from media collection.
Keep missing items on hold. Even when material is received, assign a separate playback and output check on the actual Mac.
