A chance to be among the first to discover this year's award winners

Hosted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and organised by the Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation (aT), the festival will showcase winners of the 2026 Korean traditional-drink competition. The ministry announced 18 winners, with Bluewine Company's 'Berrywine 1168CS' receiving the Presidential Award. The awards ceremony is scheduled for the opening ceremony on 13 November. Award-winning producers are expected to receive priority for festival participation, so check before your visit if there is a particular drink you would like to discover.

A competition, stage programmes and hands-on making activities

According to the Korea Tourism Organization's event information, the programme includes the traditional-drink competition, stage events, Korean traditional-drink classes and hands-on making activities. Part of the festival's appeal is the chance to experience how the drinks are made as well as tasting them. Check subsequent announcements from the festival office for individual programme application arrangements and operating times.

Save with advance booking

According to aT's Thesool website, advance tickets cost KRW 10,000 and are available through 6 November, while on-site registration during the festival costs KRW 15,000. Each person must register individually for one advance ticket, and mobile-phone identity verification is required. Be sure to bring identification on the day. If you have difficulty completing verification, ask the festival office about another way to register.
