Follow your NOC after submitting an expression of interest

The IOC’s expression-of-interest window ran from 9am on August 31 to midnight on October 23, Los Angeles time, with no late submissions accepted. Applicants should follow their home NOC’s review, allocation and subsequent deadlines. An application does not guarantee accreditation, and the overall E press quota is 6,000.

December 18 is the NOC numbers-submission deadline

By December 18, NOCs submit organisation names and numbers for each accreditation category to LA28. They then communicate allocations and subsequent steps, including press accommodation. Keep application records and contact details ready while developing staffing, equipment and travel plans according to your NOC’s instructions.

Match filming plans to your accreditation category

The IOC allocates ENR credentials for non-rights-holding radio and television organisations in consultation with NOCs. These do not permit professional video equipment or filming, recording and broadcasting inside Olympic venues. Main Press Centre equipment use has separate conditions. Agree filming locations, equipment and permitted access with your production team in advance.

Spectators should use the official ticket route

Marketing staff and PR or advertising agencies are excluded from press accreditation. Spectators can consult official LA28 ticket information, which lists the next general-public sales opportunity in 2027. Follow the route appropriate to reporting, partner work or public attendance as you prepare for 2028.
