Meet this year's 50 Young Designer teams
Hosted by Designhouse and organised by monthly DESIGN, this year's festival puts the Young Designer Promotion in the spotlight. To mark the magazine's 50th anniversary, it presents work by 50 teams selected by SDF and monthly DESIGN. With finished products, graphic design and craft on display in the same hall, you can compare how creators in different fields approach their work. When a piece catches your eye, ask the designer about the idea behind it. That conversation could be the starting point for your next collaboration.
Choose your visiting day and check last admission
The exhibition runs for four days, from Thursday, November 26 to Sunday, November 29. It closes earlier on the final day, so keep that in mind when making plans. All times are Korea Standard Time. Ticket sales and admission close one hour before the exhibition ends.
| Visiting day | Opening hours | Ticket sales and last admission |
|---|---|---|
| November 26–28 | 10:30–18:30 | 17:30 |
| November 29 | 10:30–17:00 | 16:00 |
Final early-bird tickets cost KRW 12,000
According to the official ticket guidance, a final early-bird ticket costs KRW 12,000 and is available until November 22. The on-site price is KRW 15,000. The Ticketlink product page linked by the organiser offers the same early-bird price.
One detail to keep in mind: the Ticketlink ticket allows one admission on one day of your choice during the event. It does not provide access throughout all four days, so agree on a visiting date with your companions before deciding how many tickets to buy. A full refund of the amount paid is available until 23:59 on November 19. From November 20, cancellations and refunds are unavailable, whether or not the ticket has been used. If you buy through another seller, check that product's conditions separately.
Prepare a few questions if you are looking to collaborate
Design-brand exhibiting categories include brand worlds, graphics, platforms supporting designers, craft, design addressing sustainable materials and social value, and technology-based interactive and new-media work. These categories describe the scope of exhibits; they do not confirm that any individual brand is participating. Choose the fields that interest you and start by exploring the latest work introductions.
If you are preparing an event, decide in advance whether you need visual materials, products to place in a space, or participatory content. When you find work you like, ask about possible sizes and materials, ways to collaborate, and production lead times. A short list of questions can help you combine enjoying the work with a useful business conversation.
Check exhibiting and business matching separately
Visitor tickets being on sale does not mean new booth applications are open. The general exhibitor recruitment deadline in the official schedule was September 30. If you are considering exhibiting at this stage, contact the secretariat first to ask whether additional participation is possible.
The business-matching page still displays an under-preparation notice alongside a buyer application link for 2025. Applying through that link may not lead to a meeting at this year's event, so wait for a 2026 recruitment announcement and check its details before applying. For operational and exhibiting enquiries, contact the secretariat at 02-2262-7205 or sdf@design.co.kr.
