Start with the islands and exhibitions you want to see
The fair, which began on September 5, introduces the value of islands and the sea through exhibitions and activities. Choosing locations and programmes first helps create a comfortable day. If you plan to visit several sites, check their operating hours and travel routes together.
Visitor convenience remains a focus through closing
The Ministry of the Interior and Safety said its October 20 inspection covered exhibition and activity spaces, the island-theme zone, the Daseom train, restaurant-market areas and food trucks at the main site. It reviewed food hygiene and facility management, requested programme improvements and said it would maintain coordination with local governments and organisers until the November 4 closing.
Read earlier preparations alongside current guidance
In material distributed on September 3, the organiser announced additional shade, parking-entrance improvements, measures against standing water, accessible-toilet entrance adjustments and improved signs. These were preparations before opening. Use the current ticket, transport and programme information when planning your own visit.
Allow time for meals and rest on group visits
Visitors can check programmes, tickets and travel information on the official website. Group coordinators can share gathering points, meal and rest times and a contact person for each location. Operating teams can pass reported issues and actions between shifts to help welcome visitors comfortably through the final days.
