Explore the automotive supply chain, from parts to services
Jointly organised by Messe Frankfurt (Shanghai) and Chinese machinery and equipment company Sinomachint, the exhibition covers supply chains for passenger cars, commercial vehicles and different powertrains. In its 21 September press release, the organiser said it expected 7,600 participating companies. Official product categories include parts and automotive electronics, diagnostic and repair equipment, vehicle accessories and digital services. Vehicle and parts manufacturers, distributors and repair businesses can look for both the technologies they need and potential collaborators.
Explore electrification and connected technologies by field
In its 28 May press release, the organiser introduced this year’s theme, ‘Automotive +’, highlighting the intersections between automotive technology and AI, new energy, hardware and software, and robotics. Innovation4Mobility, electrification, batteries and charging, intelligent connectivity and vehicle repair are among the planned areas. If you are buying products, prepare your intended vehicle applications and specifications. If you are seeking service partners, outline the regions and support coverage you need. These details will help make your conversations more specific.
Opening hours and venue
Opening hours are 09:00–18:00 from 2 to 4 December and 09:00–15:00 on 5 December. All times are local to Shanghai. The final day ends three hours earlier, so it is worth scheduling discussions with your priority companies on an earlier day. The venue address is 333 Songze Avenue, Qingpu District, Shanghai.
Prepare meetings through Match Up and separate buyer programmes
The organiser’s Match Up programme connects exhibitors with potential buyers and coordinates one-to-one meetings before and during the event. You can submit your product interests and meeting objectives through the official page. Applying does not guarantee a meeting, so check that both the other party and the time have been confirmed.
Premium Buyers Club and Auto Tech Club require separate applications and screening. Check eligibility requirements, such as purchasing authority or research and development responsibilities, first. General free visitor registration does not automatically provide these programmes’ benefits.
Free admission is for industry visitors aged 18 and over
The official visitor guide states that admission is free and restricted to industry visitors aged 18 and over. You can create a registration or sign in with an existing account through the official preregistration system. The 31 October date still shown on the page was the deadline for a preregistration benefit providing an electronic catalogue after an on-site visit; that date has already passed. Check the official guidance again for the final general visitor registration deadline, fees and conference seat availability.
