Experience a connected hospital, from admission to follow-up treatment

The organiser introduced Hospital of the Future in Hall 12 in its 19 October press release. Several companies will jointly create an exhibition following the journey through admission, diagnosis, the operating theatre, intensive care and follow-up treatment. Rather than viewing individual devices alone, visitors can explore how technology and work processes connect within a hospital. This is an exhibition plan announced before the event, so it should not be treated as evidence of actual operating results.

Decide whether to visit the exhibition or attend conferences as well

MEDICA provides joint ticket information with COMPAMED, which takes place on the same dates. The official 2026 prices are shown below in euros. Online prices include statutory VAT.

TicketOnlineOn site
One-day exhibition ticket€50€95
Full-event exhibition ticket€150€275
Premium€799€799

Standard exhibition tickets provide access to the exhibition, free public forums and special exhibitions. Premium includes the full exhibition period, designated conferences, masterclasses and lounge access. Individual tickets are also available for paid conferences, but a general exhibition ticket does not provide access to every conference. Compare the programme options first.

The final day closes at 16:00

Opening hours are 10:00–18:00 from 16 to 18 November and 10:00–16:00 on 19 November. All times are local to Düsseldorf. Entry one hour earlier through the south entrance is a Premium benefit; distinguish this from the opening time for general exhibition tickets.

Find the people you want to meet through FairMatch

According to the official FAQ, visitors and exhibitors registered in the ticket shop can use FairMatch free of charge. The service helps users find contacts based on their profiles and interests, chat and arrange meetings. Choose fields relevant to your visit, such as healthcare institutions, medical device manufacturing and supply, research or education, and prepare a few questions. Requesting a meeting is different from having a confirmed appointment, so check the time accepted by the other party.

Prepare your tickets and travel

The online shop terms state that tickets cannot be cancelled, exchanged or returned, and transfer to a third party requires prior consent. Decide who will visit, on which dates and with what conference access before purchasing. Exhibition tickets do not include local public transport, so budget separately for travel to the venue. Check the official ticket and voucher guidance and FAQ again for admission and travel information before you leave.
