Four days on the biggest stage for food
The event is the 21st Seoul International Food Industry Exhibition, prepared jointly by COEX and South Korea’s Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs. Across Halls A, B and C and The Platz, it presents a broad view of the food industry, from food and beverages to foodservice and catering solutions, manufacturing and packaging technology, and foodtech.
Opening hours are 10am–6pm from November 4 to 6, with last admission at 5pm. On the final day, November 7, the exhibition opens from 10am to 5pm, with last admission at 4pm. Check the last-admission time in advance so you can arrive without rushing.
Working in food? Register as a buyer in advance
Food-company employees and representatives of related organisations can preregister free of charge through the Korea Health Functional Food Association. A business card must be attached. Registration is limited to one application per person, and each attendee collects their own badge onsite. One detail deserves attention: the published closing time differs between sources. The association’s notice gives November 3 at 5pm, while the organiser’s ticket page gives 6pm. Register well ahead of time and contact the secretariat to confirm the exact deadline.
Discover French flavours and sourcing opportunities together
The French Pavilion at booth A8401 in Hall A is a space to look out for. Operated by the French-Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry, it introduces French food brands and products and offers sourcing discussions. Importers, distributors, hotels, restaurants and catering businesses can use the visit to explore potential overseas partners. The working languages are Korean, English and French.
The pavilion information does not confirm meeting times or whether advance booking is required, so contact the chamber before visiting. Prepare a list of the product categories, distribution terms and questions you want to discuss to make the most of your meeting time.
Information for general visitors
General visitors can save with an early-bird ticket. Tickets purchased by November 3 cost KRW 10,900; the standard price from November 4 to 7 is KRW 15,000. Each ticket is for one person and one day of admission.
Children born in 2014 or later can enter free of charge and must be accompanied by a guardian. Proof of date of birth is required for free admission. Pets are not permitted, and parking support is not provided, so public transport is a convenient option. Some conferences and hands-on programmes have separate participation fees; check the details of any programmes that interest you in advance.
