A different stage programme each day

The festival runs for three days, from Friday 27 to Sunday 29 November. It is hosted by Paju City and organised by the Paju Jangdan Soybean Festival Promotion Committee. The venue is Imjingak Square.

According to the official main-stage timetable, the opening ceremony starts at 14:00 on the first day. On the second day, a tightrope performance starts at 14:00, followed by the second Paju Jangdan Soybean Song Contest at 15:30. On the final day, the closing performance is scheduled for 15:30 and fireworks for 18:00.

The Munsan shuttle has an extra departure point at weekends

The official guide says that a free shuttle runs between the festival grounds and the area in front of Exit 1 at Munsan Station. Services run from 09:00 to 17:00. A shuttle also departs from Munsan-eup Administrative Welfare Centre, but this departure point operates only at the weekend. If you visit on Friday, plan to use the Munsan Station departure point.

The guide describes the service as running continuously but does not specify the interval between buses. If you want to watch the fireworks at 18:00 on Sunday, they start after the shuttle service ends. Check another way to travel home. The 09:00–17:00 hours are the shuttle’s operating hours, rather than the opening hours of the whole festival.

Free help carrying your produce to the car park

The official poster introduces a free service that carries purchased agricultural produce to the car park. You can also send produce by courier from the venue, but courier delivery is not free. If you plan to buy a lot, check where to request the carrying service and how much delivery costs.

If you drive, you can use the Imjingak outdoor auxiliary car park or Pyeonghwa Car Park. The poster recommends public transport because parking space is limited. Agree with your companions on how much shopping you plan to do, and think ahead about where to get out of the car and how to move your purchases.

Check this year’s admission and activity fees

The 2026 poster and stage timetable checked for this article did not specify general admission fees, produce prices, activity fees or whether advance applications are required. The soybean price table on the culture and tourism website contains 2025 information, so those figures should not be used as this year’s prices. If you want to join an activity, check the current year’s guide directly.
