A global photovoltaic gathering held every four years
In its 18 August press release, Daejeon Metropolitan City described the event as an international gathering held every four years that brings together major photovoltaic conferences from the United States, Europe and Asia. The official website lists the Ministry of Climate, Energy and Environment, Daejeon Metropolitan City and the Korea Photovoltaic Society as hosts. The academic conference runs for six days, while the exhibition is open only from 16 to 19 November, so plan the two parts of your visit around the dates that interest you.
Solar & Green-Energy Show: 16–19 November at DCC2
The exhibition runs daily from 10:00 to 18:00 in Halls 1–4 of DCC Exhibition Center 2. Its main fields include solar cells and modules, materials, power conversion systems, photovoltaic mounting structures and installation, and energy storage systems. Hydrogen fuel cells, wind power, smart grids and environmentally friendly mobility will also be introduced.

Register for the academic conference on site and check the conditions first
Online academic registration closed on 30 October; registration after that date is available only on site. According to the attachment to the 29 October notice, on-site registration costs KRW 900,000 for regular participants and KRW 300,000 for students. On-site payment is by credit card in Korean won only. Students must bring a student ID or proof of enrolment. Some programmes, such as tutorials, the welcome reception and the banquet, may be unavailable once they reach capacity, so check the programmes that interest you first.
If you have already registered, check the cancellation deadline too. Cancellations made by 4 November receive a full refund of the registration fee; no refunds are available from 5 November. Exceptions apply to cancellations caused by infectious disease or visa issuance problems. A cancellation is confirmed only after you submit the cancellation form by email and receive a confirmation reply from the secretariat. Registration cannot be transferred to another participant.
Visit IEA PVPS and the industry forum together
The International Energy Agency Photovoltaic Power Systems Programme (IEA PVPS) will introduce international collaborative research, its latest publications and ongoing research at Booth W-30 from 16 to 19 November. At 14:50 on 18 November, Executive Secretary Emily Mitchell will introduce the programme and its international cooperation at the exhibition’s industry forum. If you are interested in research collaboration, you can plan to attend the presentation and visit the booth together. If products or installation are your focus, choose relevant companies from the official exhibitor list.
Check these details before your visit
