When to use it
Prepare before interviews and review with the interviewer and note-taker promptly afterwards.
What to have ready
- Request email, guidance and enquiry/evaluation periods and populations
- Respondent roles and recent-experience questions
- Recording, sharing and sensitive-information rules
Record the recent task and where it became blocked before considering event ideas.
Distinguish direct accounts, hearsay, quotations and summaries and link evidence actually checked.
Keep planning interpretation and suggested solutions separate from verified facts.
Read back the summary, compare notes and assign owners and deadlines for unconfirmed evidence.
